The Northeastern States Tax Officials Association (NESTOA) is delighted to be hosting the 2008 Annual Conference in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island. We look forward to welcoming delegates and guests to “The City by the Sea.”

The annual conference is scheduled for September 21st to 24th.  The conference will start with a reception on Sunday night at one of our famous mansions on Bellevue Avenue overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  The conference will conclude Wednesday at noon after everyone enjoys a traditional New England Clam Bake on Tuesday night at the annual banquet. 

We are planning a diverse educational program for the conference.  The educational sessions are designed to improve your understanding of the tax issues confronting states and tax professionals in an era of challenging economic times.  This is a great opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the NESTOA state tax administrators and the practitioners in attendance.
